“Huntingdale Village Pharmacy has been a member of Pharmacy Alliance (PA) for the past 12 months. Over this period we have implemented various procedural changes to our pharmacy, whilst working together with our excellent pharmacy group managers, aimed at building our overall business performance.
The primary benefit to our business through this programme would be the ability to have a combined buying power whilst being able to maintain our independence as an individually owned and operated smaller community pharmacy. Pharmacy Alliance provides discount purchasing power via pre-negotiated deals. This enables excellent price point and product margins on multiple brands amongst all departments within pharmacy.
These gains are not limited to just purchasing however. There are multiple facets to the PA formula which include assistance with staffing, store fit outs and re-financing amongst many other benefits.
